The albino creature is own that makes men uneasy. The absence of color is much like the absence of life to Ishmael.
White is a famous color. It white things are nice and others are scary. I think the white whale is scary.

Ahab is frequently awaken at night by terrible dreams that are beginning to madden him.
Ahab can’t sleep at night.
Ch46
Ahab must hunt other whales too, in order to complete the mission and to keep Starbuck under his command.
Ahab hates sperm whales.

Ishmael and Queequeg make a sword-mat together.
Finally, some more Ishmael/Queequeg bonding time.

The first whale hunt begins during a squall. Starbuck is reckless and as a result his boat with Ishmael and Queequeg is flipped.
Ishmael takes a swim hunting his first whale.
Ch49
Ishmael questions Stubb and Flask as to why Starbuck was so reckless.
Ishmael is pissed at Starbuck and writes a will to calm down.

Ahab had smuggled Chinese whalers on board to assist him without drawing suspicion from Peleg and Bildad.
Ahab has his own whaling team made of illegal Chinese men.

Ahab spends hours on deck searching for the spout that might be Moby Dick.
Capain’s obsessed with the whale! But we already knew that.
